Mrs. Gandara graduated from Glendale Community College with an Associate in Arts & Associate in Transfer Partnership Elementary Education ASU West Degree in 2005. Continued on to the teaching program at Arizona State University West and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education with a Bilingual Endorsement in 2007. 

Diana began her teaching experience with the Head Start program working with children ages 3 to 5 year olds.  Mrs. Gandara believes in providing a learning atmosphere that supports children to develop the skills necessary to construct their own knowledge within a safe a caring environment that offers diversity, discovery, and play, an opportunity to explore their natural world and develop a love of learning.

In 2012 the C.O.O.P. program was established and Diana is excited to start her fourth year of teaching with C.O.O.P. at Moon Valley High School as the director/preschool teacher of the program.
