Moon Valley’s Future Freshman Night
Moon Valley’s Future Freshman Night
Posted on 2014/01/07

Each year, Moon Valley welcomes a new class of freshmen students by sponsoring a Future Freshman Night.  We do this to acquaint newcomers to our school before the year kicks off in August.  Families are invited to attend this event on Thursday, January 16th.  Parents and their eighth grade students will check in at the Moon Valley Auditorium beginning at 5:45 p.m.   There will be a presentation featuring our Performance Dance Class, vocalists from our Choir department, a rousing call to school spirit by our Marching Band, theatrics from our Drama students, and patriotic ardor by NJROTC.   Newcomers will also hear from our Principal, Mr. Craig Mussi about what Moon Valley has to offer our students and community.

Following the presentation, attendees will be able to tour the campus and meet our teachers.  There will be information regarding our advanced placement and dual credit classes, fine and performing arts programs, and our career and technical education courses.  Also, featured will be our athletic programs and extracurricular clubs.  The Rockets welcome the Class of 2018 and look forward to being a part of what our new freshman students will accomplish here at Moon Valley High School.
