Moon Valley’s Freshman Fall Festival was held on Thursday, October 8th. Over 300 students, parents and Moon Valley staff members attended this annual Title I Parent Event!  Parents were able to login or create a ParentVue account to check their student’s grades.  After parents and students checked grades, the family proceeded to the Quad area to participate in various games and activities. The dunk tank was a favorite of the evening and many had fun trying to dunk science teacher, Mr. Bryan Smith.  Once a student completed the game card, students received their dinner tickets and a special commemorative Moon Valley 50th Anniversary t-shirt. Dinner was prepared by NJROTC students along with MV’s Culinary Club.

A few of the parent comments from the evening:

“I loved being able to share a night as a family.  We live apart, but came together for our daughter.”

“I truly enjoyed spending time with my daughter at this event.  I was able to meet a few of her teachers.”

“Very well done with lots of fun for students.”

“This has been a very fun and entertaining evening.  Loved seeing Mr. Smith get dunked by my kiddo.”

        “Go Rockets!  Class of ’75!”
