Dear Parent:

Rocket Boosters is Moon Valley High School's parent organization. Our mission is:

"Parents, coaches. teachers, students, and administration working together, always striving to improve academics, athletics, fine arts, and school spirit within the Moon Valley High School community."

The Rocket Boosters, through fund-raising, various events, general membership fees, donations and your volunteerism, provides assistance to activity groups, athletic teams, and clubs throughout the campus.

In past years, we have awarded thousands of dollars in scholarship funds to deserving members of the senior class and provided gift certificates to Student of the Month honorees.

Our goal for the 2009 – 2010 school year is to distribute 10 scholarships!

In addition, the following sports, clubs and organizations received funds from the Rocket Boosters: Baseball, Softball, Football, Boy's & Girl's Basketball, Girl's Soccer, Wrestling, Track & Field, Tennis, Cross Country, Dance, Swim, Badminton, Flagline, Volleyball, Choir, Theatre, Student Council, Media Club, Senior Class, Junior Class, Sophomore Class, Library, Media, Journalism, Speech & Debate and Rocket Town.

We look forward to an exciting and productive year, but we need your participation!

Rocket Boosters thrives on the support of parents, teachers, and students, and to a high degree, community involvement. We have several committees available to meet your interests, including Fine Arts, Athletics, Scholarship, Fund Raising and Membership. Simply helping support the Booster Club by joining by paying your dues for the school year of $10 per family is a great help. Regardless of your membership dues, the Rocket Boosters appreciate any time you can volunteer.

General monthly meetings are held the first Monday of every month (excluding holidays) in the Teacher's Lounge, located at the northeast corner of the cafeteria, at 7:00 PM. Each meeting, we look to incorporate presentations from various clubs and sports.

Remember our mission ... with your participation in the Rocket Boosters, we can help all our students maximize their experience at MVHS!
