If you still need to purchase your cap and gown, please stop by the Bookstore Window to request a packet.  Orders must be placed with Elite Southwest directly and the contact and order information is contained in the packet you will receive.

MV Reads:
MV Reads is on Thursday, March 30th.  If you signed up to read a book, don't forget that the book talk is at 6:00pm in the Media Center - we'll see you there! If you have any questions, see Ms. Allen in Room 905."

The LGBT+ Alliance
We will be attending the Pride Parade on Sunday, April 2nd.  Please see Ms. Richardson in Room 308 or Mrs. Sargent in 309 for a permission slip if interested.  We will be having an informational meeting about the parade as well as making tie-dye t-shirts for the event on Thursday, March 30th. Bring a white cotton t-shirt if you want to participate in the tie-dying.


Attention Sophomores: GCC is offering a 2 year scholarship for your junior and senior years of high school to attend college classes on Saturdays. Please pick up a flyer in the Counseling Center or Career Center if you are interested in learning more about the program. Some of the criteria are:

  • have a GPA over 2.0
  • you may be the first person in your family to attend college
  • you live in a single parent household
  • you qualify for free or reduced lunch

Phoenix Sister Cities Youth Ambassador Exchange Program is looking for students to spend 3 weeks in the summer at one of our sister cities being an exchange student. If you are interested, see Mrs. Irwin in the counseling office this week.

If so, please attend our MANDATORY parent meeting

Monday April 3rd at 6:30pm in building 5 conference room.

There you will receive your tryout packet as well as important dates and information.

Tryout Clinics will be held on:

Wednesday, April 12th and Thursday the 13th 

Final evaluations are on Friday the 14th
