Fall Freshman Festival

Fall Freshman Festival
Posted on 2016/10/05

The Fall Freshman Festival was a huge success once again this year with over 100 freshman students attending with a parent or guardian.  Upperclassman, club sponsors and freshman teachers were in charge of the fun and activities ranging from Word-A-Round, Tenzies to throwing a pie in the face of a celebrity teacher or administrator.  The goals of this School-wide Title I Parent Event include:

  • Parents & students having fun at school

  • Parents creating or logging in to a ParentVUE account to check on their teen's progress

  • Parents and students getting to know teachers and staff in a fun environment

All attending were also treated to burgers prepared by National Junior ROTC senior cadets, veggie trays and yogurt parfaits prepared by FCCLA, plus each freshman received a BLAST Center t-shirt.  A special thanks to all who attended and were involved in this fun Homecoming Week tradition at Moon Valley High School.
