October 2019 – Glendale Union High School District invites sixth through eighth grade students and their families, or those interested in enrolling in Phoenix and Glendale’s premier high school district, to attend our signature event, Honors and Advanced Placement Academy Night on Nov. 14. 

At GUHSD, student success and achievement are top priorities. To ensure the district is helping all students earn a quality education and participate in an academically challenging curriculum, all nine of GUHSD’s high schools offer Honors courses, Advanced Placement Academies and dual enrollment to receive college credit. During the 2018-2019 school year, GUHSD students earned an accumulative amount of 8,096 in college credits, saving them thousands on college tuition. In addition, the district offers students the opportunity to graduate with an AP International Diploma, a globally recognized achievement and great option for those who plan to study abroad after high school.

GUHSD’s Honors and Advanced Placement Academy Night takes place on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m. The informational evening will take place in three different sessions. Please attend the session that includes your school. CortezGreenway and Moon Valley Honors and Advanced Placement Academy Night will take place at the Moon Valley High School Auditorium, located at 3625 W. Cactus Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85029.
